At last - Dale gets a win! Who knew that cooking for cowboys would finally be the challenge to inspire him (although we did get a hint when he confessed to "sleeping with a few cowboys"). So hot.
Clearly, Brian was doomed. He should've been gone after he perspired through his tour-of-duty as house manager in Episode 8's "Restaurant Wars". The second he put on that goofy hat (he's a cowboy from Coronado? whatevs...), any seasoned "Top Chef" viewer knew Brian would be packin' it up and heading home.

Halloween came early this year, in the form of new nighttime teen soap "Gossip Girl." I was looking forward to vicariously reliving my high school years through the eyes of super-rich, gorgeous Manhattan kids with no scruples. Ok, the CW network delivered all that, but like my first boyfriend and most gay pride celebrations, it wasn't nearly as much fun as I'd anticipated.

Look what's happened to Sarah Silverman in less than one year. Last year at this time, she was counting her blessings on The Howard Stern Show about how "lucky" she was that Comedy Central picked up six episodes of her show. She was happy that someone threw her a bone.
"The Sarah Silverman Program" was a hit and was picked up immediately last spring, but it just sort of seemed like another not-so-newsworthy achievement in the world of a semi-successful actress/comedienne who'd been struggling to make it big for years.

We all knew she was funny, but the first season of “The Sarah Silverman Program” exceeded everyone’s expectations. It also exceeded gay expectations.
