i love all you women...especially kate(shane)you inspire me to be who i really am despite my mom and the rest of my family being born again christians...i always hid who i was til the first season the show was on an i finally after 2 kids and numerous friends who by the way were gay came out to my family...my mom finally accepts it so i dont have to tell them im experimenting any more..

Thank Goddess for the L Word! Finally, a show that makes me feel "normal", whatever that is! I finally feel like I really do fit in as a gay woman, I'm not alone and there's room for everyone in the world. Thanks to the creator of the show as well, for having the courage to create a show that lesbians can identify with.

I love the L word! Shane (Kate) and Bett (Jennifer) are my favs. I hope that Shane and Page get back together they made a great Couple! Thank you to the L Word people for making a great show and taking the plung on this topic. I do beleave that it will help alot of young ppl come out and not be afraid of who they are.

We all know life's amazing. It's nice to sit down, turn your television on and be entertained by a show that captivates the daily life of strong , beautiful and intelligent WOMEN !!! Hi there. I am a 32 year old female who is a HUGE fan of the L Word. I have a degenerative disk disease called spondylolysthesis and had spinal fusion back in 2004 but it doesnt seem to be getting better so I lay in bed alot and it has gotten me to watch all of the L word seasons in like 2 weeks, my condition is getting worse and its getting to the point where my nerves are shooting pains throughout my hips and legs and I am praying that I dont have to go through another surgery or be in a wheelchair. Not that you care to hear any of this but my only dream in life would be to meet Kate and to maybe help other people with conditions like mine. I dont want anyone to feel sorry for me but I do want to be able to meet her before its too late.I have a question. In real life is Kate (shane) really a lesbian. What I would really like to know but only from seasons 1-3 are which of the cast are real lesbians because I am IN LOVE with Kate (obviously who isnt) and Carmen. They were so HOT together. I really wish she wouldnt have left the show. My dream would be to come and meet the cast. I even have men watching the show who arent even gay and they love it. Anyways, I would do just about ANYTHING to meet Kate and I mean ANYTHING so please tell me, are there any show appearances in the DC area they come to or I would even fly to LA to see her.

Ok I don't want the truth because it is possible that kate (shane) might not be gay. See my first gf whom i dated for a little over a year was a boyish skinny girl. After dating her I started to like girly ones more but man if kate is gay i would date her or just be her play thing lol. I know this sounds bad but hay I can't help it. well anyways I am a cute girl so think about it. so even if you dont wanna come out we can be discreet ok.. I just think she is sooo sexy. haha
