Jackie And Greg Go Balls To The Walls On "Workout"
"I'm going to go ice my balls."
That was my favorite line from last night's episode of Workout, and, remarkably, Jackie Warner did not utter it.
Man of steel Greg said it after being kicked in the nuts by Deenie, SkyLab's most difficult client. Am I the only person who thinks that Bravo needs to create a spin-off series for this dysfunctional diva?
Unfortunately, the focus of last night's show was not on Deenie—or better yet, Greg's crotch—but rather Jackie, whose mom Karen came all the way from Ohio to torture—I mean, visit—her.
I am sure you Jackie haters loved it.
On the drive from the airport to the house, Jackie asked her mom, who wishes her daughter was anything but a lesbian, not to scare off her new girlfriend Briana.
To which Karen replied, "I've never scared anyone off, Jackie. You have a way of doing that."
Nice kick in the balls, Karen.
Later, Karen was miffed when Jackie sprung the news on her that Briana's mother and sister were also visiting and would be staying at the house, too.
I can't blame Karen for being annoyed. Jackie could have told her before.
Karen suddenly developed a headache and was standoffish towards Briana's family. But by the end of the episode, Karen had warmed up and even noted that Jackie was happier since she started seeing Briana.
Ahhh. Mom approves—sort of. You've got to imagine Karen secretly wishing Briana would morph into Brian.
So what did you think of last night's episode? Did you have any empathy for Jackie?
More importantly, do you think Greg suffered any permanent damage after Deenie's assault on his manhood?
does he even have balls?

I no longer watch this show. Jackie has turned into a total psycho bitch from hell. She is making the whole GLBT community look bad by being crazy and not being able to keep her twat in her pants. She downs other lesbians and all the "straight" girls she magically turns bi/gay and cheat on her girl friends. This behavior is OK for a gay soap because the straight soaps do it too but when it comes to reality TV we need people that can act with dignity even if the heteros don't on their reality shows. You know the way Jackie used to in seasons 1 and 2.

I just saw Greg on a HGTVshowon Sunday was that before he did Bowflex, or after.
I really miss Doug Blasdell, I to no longer watch it its all about sex, and who does who, I agree its not typical for gay and lesbians, that I know.
Its a real turn off, and its not seeting a good example for the younger generation at all.

Workout seems like the stereotypic life of gay LA. I find it intriguing to watch the various trainers. Love to watch the boys take their shirts off. If I went to Skysports, I'd have to wear a cup to conceal the obvious. Jackie Warner--please keep hiring those studmuffins. I enjoy choosing which one to fantasize over. And Greg--I'd love to take care of your hurting testicles.

I like this show because it shows a no holds bar driven woman. The fact that she is not perfect is what makes it entertaining. I wish she did not fire Peeler. I think he is so cute with that southern accent.

I have to agree Lane103, she's a powerhouse. I mean, if you strip away her ambition, she's pretty ordinary and boring. I like that she has a passion for her work.
I thought that it was seriously psychotic of her to invite her mom without telling her about the other guests too. It's easy for her to say that she did it for the show. That's a statement her mom would not be pleased with either way. I can understand though. My mother lives only 40 miles from Dayton coincidentally. It's frustrating to me that she knows I'm gay and yet she totally minimizes the signifigance of my relationship. It makes you want to grab a magazine (either "Inches" or "Honcho" or even plain ol' "Playgirl") and slap her across the face with it. Jackie just does it in a less physical way.
