Must-see Video: Josh Klipp's "Tell Me"

Is it just me or is Josh Klipp the hottest FTM musician in the world?  His voice is like a mixture of Justin Timberlake with a sprinkle of George Michael, and he's got the charisma of both.

In his new video "Tell Me,"  directed by openly gay filmmaker Bobby Poirier, Klipp croons to his transgender co-star, Asia Vitale, marking the first time a music video co-stars transpeople as each other's love interest.   Asia Vitale is the winner of the high fashion MTF modeling pageant, Catwalk, and clips from her winning runways are featured in the video.

While I commend these two for crossing over so to speak, the song isn't something that I would buy, it's just lacking and I saw no charisma aside from the girl on the runway. He looked like he had fake fur stuck to his chest in the pool shot, very fake fur.

I have to agree with doyle's comment - this was so bland and felt forced. It felt like it was trying to be hip-hop without understanding what hip-hop is. It felt like a paint by numbers hip hop video. Love interest? check. Fancy house? check. Good performer or bangin' beat? not so much.

I'll have to agree with the forcing of crap down our throats. Heck, I don't even care if they're hot - I just want a banger.

hey all

i value candid opinions - everyone's entitled to that. it's not easy to read this stuff, sometimes i feel discouraged. ultimately, tho, i know that the person who needs to believe in me the most is me. no one out there has any idea what i've gone through to be standing here today, only me. so i keep on keeping on.

being trans in the world today takes tremendous courage. putting myself out there for public scrutiny like this, even moreso. i do my best to represent and lift up the lgbt community, and specifically to do proud by my fellow transpeople. so no matter your opinions of my abilities, i know i'm making a difference in alot of people's lives. maybe even yours. i will never stop trying to make this world a better place, to be positive, and to do it the only way i've ever known which is music. love to you all, josh

i'm proud of josh and bobby and everyone involved in the video and music production. it takes a strong and big heart to put oneself out there for criticism. it also takes a good soul to try and make a positive influence for others. not everyone can do those things. some people are better being critiques.

i wonder why some of us in the lgbt community are so eager to put others in our community down with hate? isnt that what our community have fought for years?

constructive critique is welcome. hateful words to make one feel better about themself by putting others down is not.

i think sometimes as gay people we are dealt negative hand. And we tend to do the same . Hopefully you will keep on keeping on with your career
