Sex and the City Crew Invades Oprah Today
The girls from Sex and the City—and Mr. Big, too, of course—sit down for a group interview on today's edition of The Oprah Winfrey Show to promote the Sex and the City film coming out this month, so if you haven't already left for work, don't forget to set your DVR.
According to The Daily News' Richard Huff, who got some pre-show scoop, Sarah Jessica Parker makes a confession to Oprah.
Matthew Broderick is leaving her for Tom Cruise?
No.
She is leaving Matthew Broderick for Kim Cattrall.
I wish.
She really has no idea who or what a Manolo Blahnik actually is after all these years.
Uh, no.
The star admits that the cast toyed with onlookers who gathered to watch the film being shot in New York City, intentionally misleading them. For instance, Parker tells Oprah, "We would go around and say this is some crazy dream sequence we're shooting today. We kept repeating this mantra to try and gaslight people a little bit."
Okay, if that's as far as Parker goes in sharing, I am going to toss my cosmo at the TV.
In other highlights from the chat with Oprah, Cynthia Nixon discusses her conversion to lesbianism, which could be interesting; and Kim Cattrall talks about dating younger men, which could be really interesting.
"I'm limitless as far as age is concerned," Cattrall tells Oprah.
Watch out, girl. You could get in trouble for that.
Rob Lowe Faces More Nanny Woes
Rob Lowe's nanny scandal is getting more and more complicated, which is great for L.A. lawyers but bad for the Brothers & Sisters star.
The latest development, according to People.com, finds former nanny, Laura Boyce, filing a countersuit against Lowe's wife Sheryl alleging sexual harassment.
People.com reports that Boyce claims Sheryl created an "extremely sexually offensive and hostile work environment ... behaving in a ... perverted, disgusting and crude manner." More specifically, Boyce maintains that Sheryl exposed herself to Boyce, joked in front of Boyce that Lowe's "cockrings were broken," and made sexually overt and racist remarks about Boyce's African-American boyfriend.
Simply put, this is one sordid mess.
And this isn't the first time that Lowe has found himself in the center of a sex scandal. Back in the late 1980s, he appeared in a sex video that found him in a three-way to two girls, one of whom was only 16 years old.
