Family Feud: Madonna Vs. Her Gay Brother, Pitch Your Own Reality Show!

(Getty Images) Is anyone else dying to know what Madonna has to say about her gay brother Christopher Ciccone's upcoming book?

This could be THE gayest family feud of the century.

With Christopher's tell-all titled Life With My Sister set to come out next month, E! Online's Marc Malkin reports that Madge may soon share her side of the story in a TV interview with Diane Sawyer.

Now even though she worked at reaching a state of spiritual enlightenment, Madonna must still be angry with her brother, right?

They have reportedly been estranged for a few years, and Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg recently told the Associated Press that Madonna did not cooperate with Christopher in the writing of his tome, which gossip columnist Liz Smith describes as "devastating and graphic."

I know the book hasn't even come out yet, but I'm taking sides, and I'm backing my beloved Madonna.

How could Christopher screw over his sister? After all, they worked so well together. He helped stage Blonde Ambition and The Girlie Show, two of her best tours ever.

Madonna put Christopher on the map professionally and on a personal level—just being related to her expanded his dating circle by leaps and bounds.

You expect the evil tabloids to try to take you down but not your little brother.

I don't care what the lesser-known Ciccone has to say about his sister. I will forever remain Madonna's devoted boy toy.

Where do you stand? Is Christopher a bitter brother jealous of his sister's success, or do you think he has legitimate reason to try to take her down?

Madonna vs Brother - I am very close with my sister, and the stories I could write about her life would no less fill a novel. Every Brother and Sister have their own story. He chose to tell it publically. I probably would not do it without my sister's permission, especially if I felt it was going to be hurtful.

Madonna's past is one that has unfolded before our very eyes. From True Blue to Erotica, to Hard Candy, she has taken on many aspects of her own humanity. She pushed the boundaries of society, and that is why many of us are forever grateful to her, look up to her, and appreciate her artistry and humanity as much as we do.

Hopefully people will realize that people change. The woman she is now, is not the woman she was then. (even if it isnt a negative reflection in the book, may not mean she feels/acts the way she does now.)

On the flip side, Chris sounds like he has changed too. I wont pass any judgement on him because it is difficult to gauge how he got here. I am a club/mobile DJ (part time gig), and promoters, owners, and party clients will try to push you into places you would rather not go. Sometimes they are very good at what they do and make you think it is a good idea, even if your gut tells you it isnt. I am sure producers, publishers, and such can be just as pushy.

It does not make it right; however sometimes people have to do some wrong before they find the right in the world.

It's no secret that Christopher has a really bad drug problem that has escalated greatly in the past few years. Madonna has repeatedly made pleas to Christopher to get help, go to rehab or whatever. She's went the extra mile to try and help save him. The problem? Christopher. He doesn't want to help himself. The book is just a money ploy for his habit. It's an easy story to tell since he lived it, and it'll make him a few bucks. No it's not worth selling your family out for, but if someone doesn't want to change or want help, you can't force it on them. Hopefully Christopher will straighten up, get off the drugs, and hopefully heal with his WHOLE family, not just Madge.

How unfortunate. I won't take sides , they are both entitled to their own side of the story, but it seems that Chris is trying to make a quick buck off of his Sis. While we all have a few family members we would like to per say, reveal their true colors, this is a bit disgusting. I'm sure we all have demons to face down. It does, however, seem to me that Madonna has faced hers down through her artistry...very publicly and unafraid of the outcome.
What has made her the icon she is today is not so much what she does but how she does it. The woman has incredible inner strength we all admire.

Chris is way out of line but then again, he is a drug addict and if he ever stays sober long enough he will come to regret this one day and feel a lot of shame over it. No matter what Madonna has ever said or done for her brother, he has interpreted her words and actions through the eyes of an addict. It's unfortunate that he is doing this in such a public way. 'just seem to wonder this 'revealing & scandalous book' is written, or will be published when 'the virgin' is going on a spriritual a spiritual enlightenment; in a time when $$ is at worst w/possibly no spritually non-conforming MVP's, not to mention the last controversial 'crucifiction.'

I would buy Christopher's book about Madonna. Doesn't mean that I agree with everything he might say or that I support him in ALL his stories. Isn't that what Madonna's doing with the Kabbalah centers and the homophobia that bunch believes?

I personally think it's a horrible thing to do. Madonna's done a lot for him and this is how he repays her? He also adds to the gay stereotype of being a two-faced, gossipy traitor. Whether his drug use is an issue or even if he has legitimate reasons to be angry with her, this could cause an irreperable rift in their relationship.

The book is obviously the easy piece of cake to make some good money. So what? Christopher is not the first and certainly won't be the last to venom wrap a few pages that will boost his everyday life.

Besides, he's lucky to have the one of the best subject under the fingertips.
Now is it a good thing or a bad thing, ultimately, who really cares? I mean, "really". For pros and cons WILL buy the book: Madonna's haters will love reading some greasy lines (most certainly being upset in the end, because it wasn't the bloodbath they expected), and hardcore fans will double pray their goddess, filling her myspace with "showing some love" and "I still love you! Do not care of what your evil brother says".

Now, speculating on the reasons (aside of a simple easy money making thing), saying it is not fair to his sister "after all what she's done" and such... What the hell do people know about what really happens within their walls? What the press is reporting about them? Buying it eyes closed as perfect truth? That's not even stupid, that's just plain absurd.

Lately, Johnny Depp and his long time partner Vanessa Paradis were definitely about to marry and that was big news, relayed by very precise info up to the wedding's dress code and shit. Kaboom-flop! Just ink on paper.
OK, that is not "as major" (wink wink) as Christopher Ciccone vs. sis (or should I write Holy?) Madonna.

But just a couple things to keep in mind:
Magic rhymes with... Tragic.
And as much as there's no love where there is NO love, there's no business like showbiz!

So, a forthcoming book and a vague rumor of interview... It's a win-win situation, both camps cash in. Big.

Well she is in the public eye, I often thought what madonna's brother thought of her, she used "gay" to shock and sell. Her Husband doens't like Gays and now she's doing Hip Hop style (usually related with anti-gay)I think in the past few years she has lost a lot of gay fans. I will be buying the book! can't wait.
