Mario Lopez Lands A Hot New Gig, Charlie's Angels Reunite On "Shear Genius"

Mario Lopez has landed a new gig as host of the syndicated entertainment show Extra, which means we'll get to see his gorgeous face five times a week starting on September 15.

If he'd host shirtless, we'd get to see his beautiful body, too, but I doubt he'd do that… even if we asked nicely.

Mario, who has been co-hosting the weekend edition of Extra since last year, will replace the current weekday hosting team of Mark McGrath and Dayna Devon. Extra reports that Mark is going back to music full time, while Dayna will now be a special correspondent for the show and a backup host for Mario.

I may well be blinded by my love for his dimples, pecs and abs, but I can't get enough of Mario, who is currently on Broadway in A Chorus Line and hosting MTV's Randy Jackson Presents America's Best Dance Crew. He was also seen baring pretty much all in People magazine recently.

With his good looks and charming personality, I think Mario will make Extra must-see TV. How about you?

Charlie's Angels Reunite On "Shear Genius"

The challenge on this week's episode of Bravo's Shear Genius, which airs on Wednesday, July 30, will find the stylists trying to create modern-day versions of the signature hairstyles from Charlie's Angels, and their work will be judged by not one but two original angels.

That's right. This week, Kate Jackson, who portrayed Sabrina Duncan on the 1970s series, will join Shear Genius host/fellow Charlie's Angels alum Jaclyn Smith, who played my favorite angel Kelly Garrett, to judge the work of the stylists.

Unfortunately, Farrah Fawcett, who is battling cancer, won't be taking part in the reunion, which is too bad because it would have been amazing to see all three angels together again.

Is anyone watching Shear Genius, by the way? I have to admit that I haven't been keeping up, but I will tune in this week because the challenge is too interesting to miss. I just have to see if anyone can pull off a modern take on Farrah's famous feathered flip!

Seriously, can it be done?
