Roseanne Attacks Brangelina, Annie Lennox Undergoes Spinal Surgery

In fact, she lambasts the pair—and Angelina's dad Jon Voight, too—in a post on her Roseanne World Web site.

Roseanne writes (and please note that I have added the capital letters and punctuation missing from her original post): "Your evil spawn Angelina Jolie and her vacuous hubby Brad Pitt make about $40 million a year in violent, psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children, trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more."

Roseanne also goes after Jolie for remaining undecided regarding her choice for president, writing, "Miss Jolie says she likes McCain too and hasn't decided who to endorse…huh? Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the African daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the Republican party's worldwide economic assault on Africa over the last few decades since Reagan?"

Wow.

But wait, there's more!

Speaking about Brad and Angelina's adopted children, Roseanne continues: "Their families are victims of America's right wing military incursions too. McCain wants to continue with the idea of war for profit. The americans are over that thinking now! They have drugged our troops and lower classes into supporting their oil business atrocities for long enough. We want to save not lose our souls thank you. Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death. PS...It might be good for your Asian and African children's self esteem to know you support a brown man for the leader of the free world."

I suspect Roseanne won't be first in line to buy Brad's new ecofriendly bodywash. It was announced yesterday that he worked with Kiehl's to develop the product. It will go on sale in October. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to support green causes.

I wonder what Roseanna will have to say about that!

Annie Lennox Undergoes Spinal Surgery

(Getty Images) Here's wishing Annie Lennox a full and speedy recovery.

According to a post on the singer's Web site, Lennox was injured while attending the International AIDS Conference in Mexico last week and had to undergo spinal surgery to release an impinged nerve.

The New York Times reports that Annie's health issues have resulted in the release of her retrospective album being delayed. The album, which was supposed to go on sale September 16, will now come out next year.

I am a fan of all characters in this scenario with the possible exceptions of Pitt & Rosie. Roseanne, does have some very valid points, but she did take things a bit too far Brad wanted kids but Jennifer didn't. And Angelina (probably the only woman who could turn be straight, like I would have a chance) gave Brad what he wanted. I like how Brangelina keep there political views to themselves. Most people with their kind of money usually donate to causes as a tax right off.
