Orlando Bloom Gets Down In "Saturday Night Fever" Remake, Are You Sinking Your Teeth Into "True Blood?", Kathy Griffin Dishes With Ross The Intern

Orlandobloom (Getty Images) I have to admit that I wouldn't mind seeing Orlando Bloom shake his groove thang, and we all just might get the chance to if the reports in the U.K. press about him starring in a British remake of the 1970s classic Saturday Night Fever alongside Keira Knightley are true.

Word is this version of the film, The Fever Returns, will be set not in Brooklyn but in an English village. Strange, but for a chance to see Orlando in a tight white suit like the one John Travolta wore so well in the original, I'm willing to go there.

Certainly, Orlando and Keira have proven that they have on-screen chemistry in The Pirates of the Caribbean flicks.

That said, I'd rather Johnny Depp played Orlando's love interest in this film. Now that would be hot.

And, by the way, this isn't the first time there has been buzz about there being a Saturday Night Fever remake. A few years ago, there was talk of the film being re-made with Robbie Williams in the lead role.

So do you think Orlando has what it takes to headline a remake of Saturday Night Fever, or would you cast another actor?

Are You Sinking Your Teeth Into True Blood?

Stephenmoyer (Image courtesy of HBO) True Blood has only aired twice, and it was hardly love at first bite for a lot of TV critics, but HBO has already renewed the series for a second season.

The show from gay Six Feet Under creator/American Beauty Oscar winner Alan Ball centers on a group of New Orleans vampires who "come out of the coffin," living on synthetic blood and trying to peacefully co-exist amongst humans.

I have to say that Stephen Moyer, the actor who plays vampire Bill Compton, makes pale rather sexy, doesn't he?

One of the most interesting characters has to be Lafayette, the bisexual, cross-dressing short-order cook/construction worker. I think I can safely say we haven't seen anyone like Lafayette on TV before. As the show progresses, we will see gay characters and gay storylines, which isn't a surprise given that Ball always made sure to give gay characters plenty to do on Six Feet Under.

So are you lusting after True Blood? I am especially curious to hear what fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel think of this latest TV foray into the world of vampires.

Kathy Griffin Dishes With Ross The Intern

My Life on the D-List star Kathy Griffin, who recently became a two-time Emmy winner (congratulations Kathy!), yucks it up with Ross the intern in an interview for his RossBlog, dishing about Tom Hanks, James Gandolfini and a certain star who gets a lot of pussy--and no, she's not talking about Oprah.
