(Getty Images) You'd better be sitting down for this one: Clay Aiken is gay.
Okay, we already knew that. But it's been confirmed by none other than Clay himself. Clay comes out in an interview in the October 6 issue of People magazine, according to Perez Hilton, who actually features the magazine's glossy Clay-faced cover on his gossip site.
Clay poses with his baby son Parker Foster Aiken (conceived by Clay's 50-something-year-old friend Jaymes Foster through artificial insemination) on the magazine's cover, which blares the not-so-subtle headline: Yes, I'm Gay.

(Getty Images) You know, celeb wives never their husband's name anymore, at least in any meaningful way. Sure a huge fuss was made when Jennifer Aniston went to the DMV to add "Pitt" to her driver's license, but we never knew her as Pitt. OK, maybe not the best example. Eva Longoria took her husband Tony Parker's last name, but she's hyphenating....oh, these Hollywood types.

I had faith that George Michael had cleaned up his act, but I was wrong.
The 45-year-old singer, who just wrapped up his first concert tour in 15 years, was arrested for drug possession in London over the weekend, MTV.com reports.
And get this: He was caught using the drugs—crack cocaine and marijuana—in a public restroom not far from his North London home.

(Getty Images) Reality television is constantly derided by TV critics who think they're too cerebral for the genre (don't get me started on that), but it has been a boon for gay visibility on television.
In fact, while the number of gay and lesbian characters on scripted shows has gone down in recent years, we're seeing more and more gay people on reality shows, Mediaweek points out.

(Getty Images) I have to admit that I wouldn't mind seeing Orlando Bloom shake his groove thang, and we all just might get the chance to if the reports in the U.K. press about him starring in a British remake of the 1970s classic Saturday Night Fever alongside Keira Knightley are true.

Between the tens of thousands of clicks and the hundreds of comments posted to the editorial coverage of the Howard Stern show on PlanetOut and Gay.com this past year, we know there are thousands of gay and lesbian listeners who love to listen to Howard. Maybe even the cast of "The L Word..."
That said -- we also realize there are thousands of Gay.com readers who aren't fans of Stern's, have no intention of ever listening to Stern or just plain don't care.
Well today, something gay happened on CNN that you may have seen and talked about -- yet never realized the Howard Stern connection...

No, not that way...he wants to pitch an idea for a same-sex couple dancing competition.
He told eonline.com's Mark Malkin that while he thinks it would be "silly" to pair him with a man for his upcoming stint on Dancing With the Stars, because "it would just be like making fun or something", he does go on to say that "if it was another show with all guys dancing and all girls dancing, that's a different story. I think that's sexy. I should pitch that."

Meeting Margaret Cho at a retail shop he worked at in the 90's and later styling her for an "Interview" magazine shoot led to a long time friendship between the stylist and the comic. Gay.com spoke to this wardrobe stylist to the stars to uncover insider secrets on keeping it together from head to toe.

(Getty Images) The news that Steven Soderbergh was in the beginning stages of making a movie about the life of Liberace caught my attention slightly, but when I read about who was being considered for casting -- that's what really got my interest.
Variety reported that Soderbergh drafted the biopic with none other than Michael Douglas set to play Liberace. What? I can see Douglas being OK in the role, but let's face it -- there are so many others who would so much better.
