"Runway" Blocked, "Dexter" Begins, Gale Harold Returns and Lance Does Ellen

Timgunn_2 (Getty Images) It looks like Project Runway won't be saying, "Auf wiedersehen!" to Bravo, after all.

I don't know how closely you've been following the legal wrangling between Weinstein Co., which produces the show, and NBC Universal, which owns Bravo. But NBC Universal filed a lawsuit against Weinstein Co. after the production company announced it was moving Project Runway to Lifetime as of the show's sixth season, which was slated to begin airing in January.

But not so fast, said a New York Supreme Court justice, who just ordered a preliminary injunction that bars Weinstein Co. from taking the show (or any spinoff) to Lifetime, according to the Associated Press.

The AP reports that the judge made the decision based on evidence that shows Weinstein Co. violated its deal with NBC Universal because it was supposed to offer Bravo the right of first refusal on the show before taking it elsewhere, and it didn't.

Not surprisingly, Weinstein Co. is going to appeal the decision. Look for the legal drama to continue when Weinstein Co. and NBC Universal return to court on October 15.

I wasn't thrilled about Project Runway's move to Lifetime. I don't see the show fitting into Lifetime's lineup, and I wasn't happy to hear that a big chunk of season six is being shot in Los Angeles.

How about you? Were you against the move to Lifetime and the idea of taking Heidi and company to Los Angeles, or did you think the change might do the show some good?

Dexter's Michael C. Hall and DH's Gale Harold Steam Up Sunday Night

Michaelchall (Getty Images) I found myself torn between two men last night. I'm talking about Dexter's Michael C. Hall and Desperate Housewives' new addition Gale Harold.

Dexter and Desperate Housewives are on at the same time where I live, so I had to decide which show to watch first.

Since I have been dying for Dexter's return, I chose to watch the Showtime slice-fest first, and I wasn't disappointed. Did you see it? What did you think?

I have to admit that at the end of last season I wasn't quite sure where Dexter's writers could go with the show, but I love the concept of America's favorite serial killer breaking "the code" this season, which he did last night, randomly killing a man.

Meanwhile, I am glad that Dexter isn't so frigid when it comes to sex these days. It gives us more of an opportunity to see Michael C. Hall out of his clothes.

Galeharold2 (Getty Images) Even though Michael C. Hall played gay on Six Feet Under, it has never felt strange to see him with a woman on Dexter. I did think it would be weird to see Queer As Folk bad boy Gale Harold with a woman on Desperate Housewives. But I have to say it wasn't at all jarring to see him cozying up to Teri Hatcher (Susan) in bed last night. Honestly, I was just happy to see him back on a regular series. I've missed Gale!

By the way, I loved the nod Desperate Housewives gave to Gale's gay fans. As we saw, he had to dive out of Susan's window half-naked when her friend Lynette walked in. Cut to Susan's gay neighbors getting a gander at sexy Gale is his underwear and snapping a pic with a cell phone. That was a clever touch!

Did you catch Dexter and Desperate Housewives last night? And do you agree that Michael C. Hall and Gale Harold make Sunday the hottest night on TV?

Lance Bass Pays Ellen A Visit Today

Lancebassdwts_2 (Image courtesy of ABC) A programming note: Lance Bass will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today with his Dancing With the Stars partner Lacey Schwimmer.

Wouldn't it be fun to see Lance do a mambo with Ellen?

Actually, it be even more fun to see Ellen compete on the next season of Dancing With the Stars. I can't imagine that she could do it given her talk show schedule. But if she could make the time, it would be amazing to see Ellen shake her groove thang on the show. Don't you think?

I just watched the new Dexter show and I liked the changes in the show. And I don't know how much I liked Gale Harold with a girl... it was just too much for me I guess.

I can't believe they're moving PR to Lifetime!!! PR is a Bravo show all the way. Lifetime just isn't suited for this kind of show.

very nice picture. It taken person has information.

Crystal Meth Addiction

If by "hot" you mean sexy, I agree about Gale Harold, but not about Michael C. Hall. Dexter's a great show and Hall's great on it, but I never did respond to him on a sexual level. As for Harold ... Uncle Peter, my smelling salts!!!

Sunday night is Sex City for various male reasons. I'm also partial to Jon Hamm on Mad Men, and have you seen Stephen Moyer and Ryan Kwanten on True Blood?

None of the others is competition for gale Harold, but they're right purty and pipin hot.

I think a huge number of us were bouncing off the walls Sunday night when it came to choosing between Dex and DH. Two of the sexiest and most talented men alive and you can only have one at a time? Of course Gale won out for me because he always will, but I wasn't disappointed by either show or my men. They were wonderful, as always. Kudos to Marc Cherry for giving us our beautiful Gale again. Btw, did you notice a similarity in scenes between DH and QAF? Remember the karaoke scene with Mikey singing to Ben on QAF, and then Jackson sings to Susan in a similar fashion. That and the cell phone picture had me smiling from ear to ear. Go Dex...and go DH. You've always had me, but now it is ten times stronger.

This guy is just too gay. He need to go back into the closet till he learn how to act like a norral gay man

I have to watch "Desperate Housewives" at 9 Eastern, then watch "Entourage" at 10, and then twiddle my thumbs until I can watch True Blood" at 11:30." "Dexter at 9 competes with "Housewives" and "Mad Men" at 10 competes with "Entourage," so I have to catch both later in the week. I can't even watch the 11:00 repeat of "Mad Men" because of "True Blood." Thank God for Entertainment on Demand ("Mad Men") and Showtime on Demand ("Dexter"). Why the hell do all the good shows have to be on Sunday night?
