Don't We Owe It To Tina Fey To Watch "30 Rock" Tonight?

Tinafey4 After all of the laughs Tina Fey has given us with her Sarah Palin impression on Saturday Night Live, I think the least we could do for this talented lady is tune into the third season premiere of 30 Rock tonight. Don't you?

I'm not on the NBC payroll, by the way. I just feel like we should support Tina, and it isn't like watching 30 Rock is torture. It is a funny series that has Tina playing Liz Lemon, the producer of a comedy show that happens to be an awful lot like Saturday Night Live. Tina is surrounded by a great ensemble of quirky characters, including Alec Baldwin as ambitious network executive Jack Donaghy, Jane Krakowski as diva actress Jenna Maroney and Tracy Morgan as wild and crazy star Tracy Jordan.

Let me add that Megan Mullally, our beloved Karen from Will & Grace and another Sarah Palin lookalike, guest stars on tonight's season premiere. Meanwhile, Will Arnett reprises the role of Jack's closeted nemesis Devin Banks. Now that's more incentive to watch!

Marcia Brady's Gay Interview

Maureen_mccormick_main Here’s the story:  A year after “The Brady Bunch” went off the air, Maureen ("Marcia") McCormick went to a Laurel Canyon party with her boyfriend, where she encountered, for the first time, cocaine.  She tried it. Nothing happened. She did a second line. Nothing happened. When she snorted the third line, she felt so euphoric and "sane" that she became hopelessly addicted for the next six years.

And I mean hopelessly: McCormick became known as "Hoover" in certain circles -- and one night, she was so desperate for cocaine she let a man film her having sex. (Don't worry, we'll definitely get to that part later.)

"Ugly Betty" Stars Urge the Latino Community to Vote "No" on Prop 8

Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera, Tony Plana and Ana Ortiz are featured in a Spanish language television ad urging the Latino community to vote "No" on Prop 8:

For those who do not speak Spanish, here is the translation:

"Voting no on Prop 8 is not just about gay rights,” said America Ferrera. “It’s about preserving the integrity of equal rights in this country. This is not about being gay or straight, it’s about being American. Vote no on Prop 8.”

"Family is very important to Latinos,” said Tony Plana. “Prop 8 discriminates against families and everything we stand for. I encourage all Californians to vote NO on this divisive and unfair proposition."

"Like all Americans, Latinos have family members and friends who are gay and deserve the same rights all of us have,” said Ana Ortiz. “Prop 8 would take away those rights and that's why we urge all Californians to vote NO."

This Just In: An Update On Gale Harold's Condition

Galeharold4 We've got some good news regarding Gale Harold: The Associated Press reports that the actor is out of intensive care.

Gale wound up in the intensive care unit at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center after a motorcycle accident earlier this month that left him with swelling on the brain and a fractured shoulder.

Is "Celebrity Rehab" Exploitative Or An Eye-Opening Look Into The World Of Drug Addiction?

CelebrehabMy name is Carter Todd, and I am addicted to Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

I'm glad I got that off my chest.

I swore I was going to kick the habit after watching the show's stressful first season, which found Jeff Conaway, Brigitte Nielsen, Mary Carey and other celebrities struggling to beat their respective drug addictions. I actually felt sick watching these people go through withdrawal. Still, I couldn't resist tuning into last night's season two premiere on VH1 last night, and I quickly got hooked on the new cast.

Sadly, Jeff Conaway is back, illustrating how hard it is to just say no to drugs once you've just said yes to drugs.
