An Update On Gale Harold's Condition

Galeharold3 An update on Gale Harold's condition: Over the weekend, the Associated Press reported that the actor remains under observation in the intensive care unit at Los Angeles County USC Medical Center, but his condition is improving, and he will be moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center when a bed opens up. So, thankfully, it sounds like Gale is on the road to recovery.

As we previously reported, Gale was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident last Tuesday. He suffered swelling on the brain and a fractured shoulder.

The outpouring of support from all of you has been tremendous.  By the way -- read your comments here -- you guys really banded together on this one.

The GayTVBlog was flooded with heartfelt messages wishing Gale a speedy recovery after we originally posted about his accident last week.

Clearly, the actor, who is now on Desperate Housewives, made a lasting impression on all of us during his run on Queer As Folk, and it went beyond us lusting after him. Seriously, I was shaking when I first read about his accident last week, and all I could think was, he has to be okay. I have to admit that I was surprised by the depth of my reaction.

Why do we feel such a strong connection to Gale?

I think we all love and respect Gale because he played a complicated man like Brian Kinney with such passion. He created a gay golden boy who wasn't always such a sweetheart but who stood up for what he believed in and lived life on his own terms.

At least that's my theory. But I don't want to speak for you. Why do you feel so strongly about Gale? What was it about his role on Queer As Folk that inspires such devotion from his fans even now, and is there any particular storyline or scene that you think best represents Gale's work on the show?

As for me, I will always remember how Brian changed after Justin was attacked. There was some amazing character development involved in that storyline, and we got to see how much Brian actually cared about Justin.

Here is a clip of an interview with Gale talking about Queer As Folk:

What I find so fascinating and appealing about Gale Harold is the level of commitment and energy that he puts into everything that he does. He gave Brian Kinney so many layers...made him into a very complex character. And then of course there's the fact that Kinney was different from anything we had seen on tv before. He was an intelligent, accomplished and succesfull man who was 100 % open about his sexuality. He was so confident, honest and "in your face" and he didn't take shit from anyone. I'll always love Brian Kinney!
But I love Jackson to. It's kind of like Gale said in an interview: Jackson is the complete opposite of Brian Kinney. It's interesting to see Gale do something so totally different. He's a great actor.

I hope he'll be back on his feet soon.

First of all, he's brave.

He took the part of Brian Kinney when every other actor in Hollywood either wouldn't meet with the producers at all, or set a meeting and then chickened out. Their fears that it would impact their careers negatively may have been correct, but Gale said he didn't want to work with anybody who would stigmatize him over Brian Kinney.

And having accepted the role, he never presumed as a straight guy to speak for gay people in interviews (don't laugh -- the straight actors who played gay parts in "Six Feet Under" and "Will & Grace" occasionally did). He always spoke about sexual politics from his own generous perspective.

He must have turned down a million shallowly written prettyboy parts since QAF. He's played oddball, troubled, quirky, complicated men. Sometimes drug-addicted, sometimes sociopathic, sometimes whimsical, and often for not a lot of money. He knows what he likes (hats, Italian motorcycles, the rocker Scott Walker about whom he co-produced a documentary) and he knows what he doesn't. But have you ever read a negative comment by him about anybody he's ever worked with?

His acting in complex parts has extraordinary complexity -- depth, legibility, mystery, layers. In an underwritten part he doesn't spring a lot of tricks to make it more interesting. He just modestly plays it, and lets the chips fall. In a complex part, however, he brings a whole world to it. He works from the inside out. You see more in the character than other actors would bring to it, and as much as you do see, you want to see still more. And you always feel there IS more to see -- that the rest of the iceberg is under the waterline, waiting.

I think that's one reason why he has fansites all around the world, in a number of languages. I think his acting transcends language -- which is useful when you're dubbed into Spanish or German, or they subtitle you in Mandarin.

"Desperate Housewives" offers him a chance to charm, and he does. So far, Jackson Braddock hasn't been given the Great Scene Gale can do like nobody else -- with that uniquely expressive face and those extraordinary eyes. But those of us who know what he can do are waiting for it. He comes to DH straight from playing a neo-Nazi paramedic with a swastika across his abs on "Grey's Anatomy." He didn't snarl in the part, didn't protect himself with a heavy southern accent. He made the guy superficially resemble anybody else, including Gale Harold. I said he was brave.

Finally, the man himself seems to have such personal integrity. He's fiercely private, but nice to his fans when he meets them. (they all report he focuses entirely on them). He isn't a publicity hog, never gives an interview that isn't tied in with a project, almost never walks down a red carpet. For a sex symbol, he never seems to work it shallowly or try to pump up his stardom. He leaves us wanting more.

Which is why the whole world is anxious for him to recover -- without feeling we know him intimately, we feel that we know him well. We feel he deserves to be okay. He’s been given extraordinary gifts, and he’s made use of them in ways we respect. Yes he’s beautiful, yes he’s sexy, but that’s true of a lot of people. There’s nobody like Gale Harold.

I think I have such a strong connection with Gale because, well, in his acting I find him so open, and honest. I think of the time when as Brian he recounts Justin's attack back to him. This is fiction right, made up, but the way Gale acts it, he's right there, in that moment. I really appreciated that. Also, the show itself I found very inclusive, and as the leader of the pack in a way, I was drawn to Brian/Gale. His character was intoxicating, that's why I fell for Brian. But I fell for Gale because he also has an inner beauty. I totally get the vibe that he's a lover not a fighter, and his artistry reached out beyond the television screen and touched my heart. That's why I was totally knocked for six by his accident and haven't stopped thinking about him in the week since it happened. I just want him well, and around for a long time.

What amazes me is that how this is such a huge trauma to the gay community because the Actor is cute.

Elvis = Gale:

Same thing? Could be!

So if another actor that plays "gay" gets hurt in an accident that maybe they caused, will the world end? Yes, we saw him as a hottie on QAF. Yes, we saw him F**k Justin, but not Michael.

It is O.M.G. B.F.D.!

For me, watching Gale Harold as Brian Kinney in QAF allowed me to think about how I related to other people, especially in the gay community that I found myself a part of around the beginning of the TV series. The character of Brian had aspects I desired. Some I saw in others I knew at the time, including the first guy I had a relationship with. And there were qualities of Brian Kinney that I wanted to try to avoid coming in contact with. We saw Brian & the rest of the cast of QAF change & grow over the course of the series. Gale Harold did a magnificent job in retaining the core of Brian Kinney's characterization while making subtle changes in him as a person & as a partner in his relationship. Let's be honest, Brian was a "bad boy" right from the start and we liked that. But there were also times you disliked him for the things he did. However, by the end of the series, you understood him a lot better & you'd seen him become a better person overall. And in the end, you could still say, "Yep, that's Brian Kinney all right!" Playing a gay character so well in a long-run & successful series, without worrying about being type-casted or ignored by the industry, takes a lot of courage(Could you ever forget all the intense erotic scenes?!). Gale Harold has done well in his career thus far, though I feel he is really underrated. I really hope that he'll be able to recover quickly so that we can enjoy his acting again soon.

Bryan was an inspiration for all of us... He was strong, sexy, savage, fashion, intelligent, succes, independent and sometimes tender but always himself... always true... I have a lot of escenes about bryan that like me, the end of the first seasons was so strong and wonder performance... and some escenes about sex... I believe he is gay because he looks very happy with these escenes..... Me encanta Bryan y es una bandera para todos nosotros...

His choice of characters is Bold. He's so brave and I think we need that kind of actors how's not afraid to take on a nazi for instence or a very sexual gay character. that shows how good of an actor he is.
Maybe his way to stardom is slow but sure solid.
Brian realized that he loves and cares for Justin after he got bashed i guess we're experiencing that right now realizing how much we love Gale and want him around for as long as possible. I love him I'll always do. I was so scared and worried as if he was one of my family members. My thoughts go out to him and his family AND GALE, NO MORE MOTORCYCLES

While it's a terrible thing to happen, all of these comments prove that we gay men are really drama queens. People are hurt every day. We don't give them a second thought. Lets run up the flag for a gay actor.

Like wow, it's like pow, like, you know, like, mmmmmm....was the interview before or after his motorcycle accident?

My heart gos out to Gale and his family. I know what him and his family is going threw seeing that last year my father was also in a motorcycle accident that almost took him from us. I truly wish a full recovery and gale is in my heart and prayers

Let me quote someone: "Mikey... You are SO pathetic." :b

And yes, we'll always be grateful to Mr. Harold and, generally, to all QaF people for doing such an amazing job. The show gave so much to lots of gay or (in my case) straight people.

And, Gale... Well, I wish him so much happiness that he could barely stand. :) He's a great actor and I believe that the best roles are still before him. Good luck!

Let's get one thing straight Mike. What are you doing here if you're not a Gale fan? We know it was only a show. We are not nelly queens and you could learn some manners. You could at least get his name right. If you can't say anything nice don't bother saying anything at all. I haven't stopping worrying about him since I heard the news either. We loved him in QaF. As a straight woman who adored the show they all gave us a glimpse into gay life and taught us tolerance. So many wonderful scenes too numerous to mention. His character was always honest and I didn't always agree with his actions but could see his motivation. I will always see him as the sexy Brian Kinney but love seeing him in anything. He is a unique actor as we all know and we all wish him a speedy recovery. Now I'm going to watch the above clip and once again drool over him.

i agree with tomriddlesmate. it's amazing how this is like a trauma to the gay community as you say, because he is cute? i wonder if they would have the same coverage for an actor less attractive. i doubt the response would be the same. if it was a gay black actor, they probably would not even know about it to be report it.

Oh, wait a minute! Are we going to add here some racist notes? Are you kiddin'?
And true - if Gale wasn't that attractive, he most probably wouldn't be that popular, but as someone already said - it's his rare inner beauty that attracts so many people. There are lots of cute guys but no one like GH.
So, if some human beings are seeing in him nothing except his cuteness, well... that's their problem.
Take care, Gale. Let your beauty dazzle us for a long, long time.

In case some of you MORONS missed it, the writer of the blog asked specifically how Gale's portrayal of Brian affected his fans!!!
I quote:
"At least that's my theory. But I don't want to speak for you. Why do you feel so strongly about Gale? What was it about his role on Queer As Folk that inspires such devotion from his fans even now, and is there any particular storyline or scene that you think best represents Gale's work on the show?"

You see?? People aren't being delusional and thinking Gale is Brian, this writer asked how everyone felt about him and this particular role. They are not being crazy, they were asked an opinion and are giving it!!!Learn how to read!!!!
And what is with all the bitter queens on here? Jealous much? How is this any different than the legions of fans who idolize the straight characters who have talent, looks and charisma- we hear about that ad nauseum. You all should be thrilled that for once a gay character gets this kind of attention and adoration.

Gale , I will keep you in my prayers and look to see you back on the big screan soon. YOUR an insperation to so many for the parts you have played, and exposed all the many layers of your acting ability, and i am sure you have draw on personal experiances in different ways. What an amazeing man in many ways, and I am glad to see you were not affraid of being type casted for your part on QAF. That alone shows what a special man you are, and hope you recover soon and be an imspiration to so many more of what a man is to be .
Love and Prayers are with you Gale
Michael Jackson

What an impressive responce to Gale's accident. I was not a regular watcher of "Queer", but all the characters (and actors) were awesome. Not only is Gale gorgeous, but so talent and he made his character so believable (we all have known a Brian). So, it was very disturbing to hear the first repeorts of his accident (gave the impression that he was a goner). He is such an Icon, and like a family member, and family bonds together when a member is ill or hurt. Thank god he is recovering, and we are so excited for his work on "Housewives". Hurry Brian and wishing you a quick recovery. Get back on that cycle, and to work soon!!!!

I am a straight woman over 70 and watched the whole QAF series. What drew me to it was what Gale Harold said in one of his inverviews, that this is a show about honesty and showing the good, the bad and the ugly in all of us no matter what our sexual preference or behavior happens to be. I was fascinated with Gale's character because of the background he came from: an overzealous intolerant mother and a poor role-model of a father---and how he closed down emotionally because of this but found ways to care for, and take care of, the people around him and gradually learn how to love and get over his fear of intimacy (not sex but heart-felt intimacy). Watching the relationships of all the characters and how they accept Brian even though he can be sarcastic and dismissive is a real lesson in humanity ie we are imperfect creatures and our greatest gift to each other is the ability to love each other, warts and all. Gale, I wish for a full recovery for you and that this accident somehow enhances the depth of your work in the future.

I am a 50 year old Black female and honestly feel that except for the color of our skin and our sex, I WAS Brian Kinney. I felt our first connection was the fact that character had been abused as a child and never shown real love and acceptance from his parents, ditto for me. BK did not know what love was and therefore couldn't believe in it, same as me. Up until age thirty-five I also hid behind drugs and sex. I'm still hoping to one day find my "Justin" who will love me as I am, and help me to "believe" as the BK character came to. I didn't even find out until Saturday, 4 days after the accident. I was at work reading CNN news on my cellphone and saw the headline "Desperate Housewives actor improving". My heart sank and I instantly thought 'Gale' because of those damn motorcycles he loves. I was scared to death to read the story but clicked on it anyway. I started reading, saw his name, and had a visceral reaction so strong I slumped and moaned loudly. I scared my clients husband who yelled, "what's wrong"? It took me a minute to recover. WOW. Gale as Brian Kinney made me laugh, cry, and sometimes yell and want to kick his ass, just like all the other characters on the show, although I must admit the Brian character is the only one I wanted to get it on with. :-) Lot's of people couldn't get past the sexual aspects of QAF and that is a shame. QAF showed whomever cared to watch and learn that the GLBT community is no different than anyone else. We all have the same issues.

I was in shock when I read about the motorcycle accident last week. My first thought was please let him be OK.

Gale Harold is an amzazing actor. I didn't watch QAF during it's 2000-2005 run on ShowTime, but instead discovered it on DVD a few years afterward. The show in a word was "amazing." Gale's performance was stellar. What I liked most about his character was that he stayed true to who he was and what he believed. For this reason I think he was misunderstood by the people closest to him.

Since QAF I've seen him in movies and twice on Broadway. I was overjoyed to see him on primetime. I think he is great as Jackson, a total 360 from his Brian Kinney character.

Gale - you remain in our hearts and prayers. Be well.

gale, you'll alwats be young you'll always be beautiful, and you'll always be BRIAN KINNEY!!!

I'm with the many who wish Gale a speedy recovery. I'm also one of the many who is still faithfully watching her QaF DVDs on a regular basis even though the show is long over. I own DVDs of everything else Gale has done that is available for purchase. And I was one of those who traveled to NYC to see him on stage in SLS. I guess that makes me part of that "cult following."

Brian Kinney is my favorite though. I think the reason so many people can love him is because so many people can relate to him. And before everyone goes crazy, think about it. Brian Kinney was a very complex character. There was some little piece that we could each relate to no matter what our backgrounds are. I have been married for 15 years. I am a straight woman, almost 40 and I have two kids. But I could totally relate to Brian and his relationship with his father. The scene where he meets his father at the Union Hall? Change the Hall to a restaurant and I could have been Brian. I had the same kind of relationship with my own father. Jack and my father were cut from the same cloth. Other people I know could find other things they related to, gay or straight. It didn't matter because he was such a great character, with so many layers and facets, there was some little part we could all find to love. Assuming of course, you were in love with the entire package to begin with. (Which I was!)

I'd have a hard time picking a storyline that represents his best work on the show because I liked it all. But I'd say the eps with his parents, as they give us some idea of how Brian grew up and who/what he grew up with would be a the top of the list. The cancer arc would make the list, too. And I don't think we could leave off the prom/bashing either. But truly, he was wonderful throughout and if you look at all the characters he has played, it shows what a amazing actor he is.

Get well soon, Gale!

Hey Mike: Your comments are what the straight society finds as the problem with us. The character that Gale Harold played in QAF does reside in our community. And I bet that his character is exactly who you are in real life or you are "Ted" and you are just jealous that Gale is getting more attention then you are. So you are the one that needs to get a life and grow up. Thank God that Gale is getting better.

Get well soon, Gale! All I can think now is God..don't let anything happen to him!

Wow, it's amazing how many different people still love him and respect his job. I hope he's gonna see it when he's back to normal life.

I recently came out late in life as bisexual, poly and I have a distinctive personality that ...well...it's hard to put under a basket.

At the pinnacle of some of my greatest success, a pinnacle I may not ever reach again, I happened to have met him when he was at one of his many pinnacles, but was going through a period of transition although I didn't know it at the tiem. I had forgotten about it until I saw Wicked in Chicago in 2007. Better late than ever I guess. I was in trouble in my degree program. Things were falling apart in my personal life. But for some reason, I had found QAF in 2007, and then youtube in 2007/2008, and stumbled upon an outtake...and then it all came flooding back to me.

And I realized that I deserved to get up, to stand up and keep moving. That the world was still worthwhile and that it would be ok even though it is changing and I was changing with it. That even though things were pretty grim, I was strong enough to not give up on my world, family and most importantly myself.

I can't imagine all the things Gale has gone through to play Brian Kinney and other roles. I don't know very well what it's like to struggle as an actor, to be rejected for reasons beyond one's control, and try to find good parts with character to them that will stretch you while in a fish bowl every day. It must at times be frustrating. But he seems to walk through it all with grace and dignity and happiness.

I do know what it's like to be constantly told who you are by people who don't know you. And I do know what it's like to be the new kid on the block. And I do know what it is like to suffer medical issues and trauma and to fight to keep going and heal. And I do know the difficulty of balancing public and private life when "you know what you want to say, but you don't know what you want to say."

And beyond all defiance of logic, my thoughts had been with him throughout this year, even though we are mostly strangers except for that chance encounter, because I knew something was coming..although I hadn't thought it was going to be this.

Bad things happen to good people and bad people in seemingly random order...opportunity knocks for all people in the form of setbacks and failures. And the good people and their friends and collaborative creative partners know how to make it work into something even better than would have been that speaks most directly to the human heart.

Yeah..this is bad, but it is also opportunity in ways that might not be apparent right away. But if he had any doubt about the people in his life, he surely will know with clarity who those people really are in the coming weeks and months and he will get a chance to know himself better as well.

Besides :) 42 is still to come :) So he has to live until then. :)

I found the strength to stand, and it's because of people like Gale, the story tellers who are with us throughout our life who comment on what it is to be human, especially when we lose our way and act as guiding lights.

So it is only natural that we feel connected to those who show us ourselves and what we have been, what we are, and what we could be.

Cat

I'm a QAF fan, who watched the UK version first. I fell in love with the entire premise and I loved the Stewart character a lot. He was my favorite. I loved his strength and his fierce, unapologetic way of living his life.

When I heard an American cable channel would be remaking it, I got a little apprehensive. Because the whole thing would definitely end up being a lighter, washed out version. I thought "They are not gonna do a good job. They are not gonna have the g*ts". And most importantly, Stewart, the character I loved so much, would end up being just a pretty boy with nothing much to add.

Oh boy, how wrong was I?

I still resisted to like the show and Brian Kinney for a little while, after I started to watch the US version. I didn't think much of Gale Harold, and actually thought he was not so interesting, or even so handsome to keep my attention for long. But for some reason, I gave it a couple episodes more to see if the show would get better in my eyes, and I can say I couldn't resist it any longer. I completely fell in love with Brian Kinney. Again. Just a different character's name and actor's approach, craft. And Gale Harold was the one responsible for this. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. He simply won my complete attention. He 'wore' Brian Kinney heart and soul and showed me, the audience, a 3-dimensional, full character. His eyes, his face expressions, the way he moved his body (and I'm not talking about sex scenes here...LOL). All that came from Gale Harold, made Brian Kinney ALIVE and not just a one note character.

I have never seen a character like Brian Kinney before QAF. I haven't seen one after QAF ended. I'm still waiting, but I'm afraid it will be very difficult to see one so soon. The part on "Desperate Housewives" gave his fans the chance to see him again, on the small screen. We couldn't be more happy about it. And all we want is that other opportunities will keep on coming. Maybe the opportunity of getting his own show one day. Our fingers are definitely crossed.

Gale Harold is the reason why I love a TV character so much. I fell in love with Brian Kinney because a compelling, very talented, intelligent, beautiful, interesting, brave actor made it happened.

Gale Harold, all the good thoughts are not enough. You deserve THE BEST. Get well soon!

Like everybody else, I'm still waiting to hear how Gale is doing now, a week after his accident.

I love all of Gale's work. Brian Kinney is special, though. One of the reasons is certainly that we had five years in which to get to know (and adore!) him. My favorite story line is the cancer arc - Brian's struggle with the (perceived) loss of perfection and youth, the fight to accept himself as vulnerable and the strength he gained from that experience were masterfully portrayed by Gale Harold. Throughout the five seasons Brian was the one character who stayed true to himself, and that wasn't due to the often flawed writing, it was due to Gale's unique talent.

So, I'm hoping to hear that he is back on his feet and on the road to full recovery very soon. I'm looking forward to more stunning performances such as his Booker O'Brien from 36K, and Kyle from Wake!

let's face it, QAF was just flat-out awful! people only watched for the sex scenes and to stare at beautiful Gale. get well soon Gale!

Get well soon, Gale!
We all need you as a wonderful actor and lovely person.

Regarding Paul's comment (on October 20, 2008 at 09:16 PM), I'm usually annoyed by people using "you know" throughout an interview, but not by Gale. For one, Gale said himself that he is not a good public speaker. In addition, his answers were usually profound and he was so sincere in wanting to give you what he thought. For that I always love watching his interviews.

Gale, wish you a full recovery soon and back to the show. I just read that the recovery will be a slow process. Please take whatever time you need. We want you safe (thus no more motorcycles please or be extra careful next time you are on a bike) and we want you around for a long time.

Get well soon, Gale. You are a fantastic actor! Great role for you on DH. You add a lot to the show. Get better!

MOTORPSYCHO NIGHTMARE

Can't speak for others. I connect
w/character Brian Kinney as person
overcompensating defense mechanism
in order to survive hurt and pain
which comes from feeling unloved to
point of thinking oneself worthless.

My heart goes out to all people --
including especially celebrities
like Heath Ledger and Gale Harold --
who engage in highly risky behavior
to point of serious injury or death.

May God bless you, i hope you get well soon. I think your a wonderful actor and a beautiful person. I will keep you in my prayers.

hey just wanted to wish gale . you are in my prayers.

I've had the pleasure to meet him once.. and he is a really nice guy.. I hope he has a very quick recovery.

When I first heard of his accident, I thought, "Oh Dear God, he has to be OK, he just has to!"
Gale Harold's stunning physical beauty is only a small part of his strong appeal to his legions of gay fans. His deep, sensitive portrayal of Brian Kinney touched something deep in our minds and in our hearts, going far beyond mere entertainment. The scene which I'll never forget is the chaotic aftermath of the bombing at Babylon, in which Brian searches frantically for Justin, finds him, and tells him he loves him. Gale played that scene so simply and straightforwardly, but with such integrity and depth of feeling--and as Brian spoke those magic words to Justin, Gale Harold was holding my heart in his hand.
Gale, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful gifts you gave all of us with your portrayal of Brian. I for one will never forget you because of those gifts. You will be held in my prayers and in my heart until we receive the welcome news that you are completely and fully recovered.

i am deaf and i like your program tv i alway watch you and i am pray for you get well and god know you he get care of you keep spiritual your health

Gale is out of intensive care and improving. Thank God. He thanks everyone for their good wishes.
Thank you all for your wishes and words here.
I hope Gale gets well soon.

sorry to hear about the accident man but i hope you get beter soon youll be in my prayers peace QAF was the best show ever. all you haters get a life

It's an interesting question - why the strong reactions to news of an actor's accident? His physical qualities alone can't fully explain it. Of course his QAF portrayal was strong and nuanced, and the character and show was groundbreaking for television. And many have known well or still know someone like the Brian character, the stunning, troubled charmer we've never completely gotten over.

But it seems a point that's missed is the fact that he appeared in eighty-two episodes of QAF. That's a lot of exposure to a person, and an unusually intimate one at that. Movies come and go and are experienced in a dark theater with a crowd, while a television series is typically seen at home with friends or alone. And QAF went far beyond any other television show before or since in terms of the physical intimacy shown between characters, gay or straight. Even if it's just on a screen at home, even if it's just an actor playing a part, for anyone - and there were many - who watched several years of the often graphic QAF, it's understandable they feel they "know" this actor/character. So, when bad news strikes, it's hard not to feel that connection.

All the best for a speedy and full recovery.

gale is gorgeous and a great actor dh I hope will keep him on he is so much better than mike, waiting to see him be as good as he was as brian Kinney oh so hot

Hope you have a speedy recovery. I enjoyed your performance in QaF. And of course other films you played. You have the looks and the talent. Respectfully submitted, Robert.

I just got this accident news about Gale,I think he`ii be right soon, because he is the hero of us~Nothing can stop him~

AS A DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE LIVING WITH MANY OTHER DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES WE ALWAYS WATCHED QAF JUST TO SEE ALL THE BEAUTIFUL BOYS. BUT TRUTH BE TOLD, I HAD MY OWN PERSONAL CRUSH AND FELT THE SEXUALITY FROM A MAN. TO GOOD HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND A CAREER FILLED WITH SUCCESS.

OMG, I WAS SO SHOCKED AND WORRIED WHEN I HEARD THIS. OMG, GALE, GET WELL SOON. I fell in love with Brian Kinney because he is not the kind of guy to say how much he loves you everyday, then screws u in the moments of need. He is the other way round, even if he helped you, he was all like DON'T THANK ME, GET LOST sorta. I have to go see Jackson, but yea I can't get over how hot and how complex Brian is, gotta thank Gale for playing him. I was so sad when they ended QAF! =( Nonetheless, Gale, GET WELL SOON, I WANT TO SEE YOU BACK ON TV HEALTHY AND HAPPY. Screw Tom Cruise, or Brad Pitt ( sorry to their fans on here) GALE, YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE SEXYIEST MAN ON EARTH FOR ME!!!

Gale Harold is indeed a talent. He has always been consistent in his self portrayal to press and magazines. I find him refreshing and beautiful. If any of you get to see him, please tell him he is needed and loved by everyone.

If I could speak to him personally I would say:

"Hey guy keep on keeping on! Don't let that spill keep you from riding again. Just remember, baby steps and no fudging, right passing or passing blind corners; come back to us hale and hearty"
