Who Will Make The Final Three On "Project Runway?"

Jerrellpr Congratulations to Jerell! The last gay man standing won the final challenge before Bryant Park on Project Runway last night.

But that doesn't guarantee him a runway show at Bryant Park. As we saw, Heidi and the rest of the judges decided to send all of the remaining contestants—Jerell, Koto, Leanne and Kenley—off to design collections (just like they did last season), and they'll choose the three going to Bryant Park based on what they whip up.

Oh, the suspense! Who do you think will make the final three?

As for what the designers produced last night, it wasn't spectacular. In fact, this might have been the lamest final four showdown in Project Runway history, which surprised me because I think all of these designers are amazingly talented.

Maybe their nerves got the best of them.

Last night's challenge found the designers creating evening gowns based on the flowers they photographed during a field trip to the New York Botanical Gardens, and not one of them truly nailed the assignment. Even Jerell's winning gown, which was inspired by plum and purple roses, suffered from poor construction.

Meanwhile, Koto created a gown that was colorful but read "pageant" in the eyes of the judges; Leanne's efforts resulted in a gown that was beautifully constructed but stiff; and Kenley made a gown that didn't read flowers as much as it read reptilian.

Kenleypr While Nina dismissed Kenley's work as creepy, Heidi said that the gown lacked elegance. "I wasn't going for elegant, Heidi!" Kenley barked.

Kenley has been rude to everyone, but I was shocked when she lashed out at Heidi. Kenley took her rude behavior a step further when she dared to roll her eyes at Heidi's response. I couldn't believe it!

Luckily for Kenley, a bad attitude doesn't get you kicked off Project Runway. (And her sob story about her hardscrabble upbringing doesn't excuse her behavior—she didn't even participate in the group hug with Tim Gunn after the runway drama!)

So what did you think of last night's episode? Who do you think the final three will be? I want to say that it will be Jerell, Koto and Leanne. But Kenley is talented, and I think she could displace either Leanne or Koto in the final three.

Jerell is a shoo-in. At least I think so!

I don't watch every episode of Project Runway, but I did watch most of the "final four" episode and this is the reason I don't watch the show more regularly. As noted on their credits (very quickly mind you), the decisions of the "judges" are often done with "help" from the producers. It was clear on this show that bitch Kenley was going to be the loser. Of course, having someone to root against is often more interesting than the ones to root for. Rather than lose her as they should have, they made the "surprise" announcement that all four would create their lines and that ANY of them could still be the one that is out of the top three, not even saving the winner of this week's show. I actually predicted about halfway through that they wouldn't throw anyone off at the end of the episode so I wasn't surprised.

Project Runway is one of those shows where everything is so subjective they can almost always find a way to keep someone "colorful" on the show who doesn't deserve it. In this case, even the subjective stuff didn't work so they changed the rules. They've done this in the past.

As to subjective, one week they'll tell a contestant their work "doesn't show enough of who you are" or that it "needs more flash", then the next week they'll complain that "it looks like what you always do" or "it needs to be simpler". Most of these type or reality shows, such as Top Design and Top Chef, leave enough wiggle room for producers to keep in people who should have been dumped long before.

I'm really kind of bored with all of them. Kenley is acting like a spoiled little girl. And her final dress looked too much like a fish skin with fins on the bottom. Jerell is talented but Leanne has no personality.
