Kanye Said What?, Did "Project Runway" Judges Select The Best Final Three?
Apparently, Ellen DeGeneres is Kanye West's fashion idol. Did anyone see him on The Ellen DeGeneres Show? He actually went on and on about Ellen's great style, telling all the guys in the audience, "No, but seriously, this is, like of the people that you should look at whenever you're trying to figure out how to put an outfit together, especially for guys."
Motioning to Ellen's ensemble, he added, "I would completely wear this right here."
Ellen was in stitches, and so was I.

Did The "Runway" Judges Get It Right?
I never thought I'd say this, but I am glad that Kenley made the final three on Project Runway—the girl won't win any personality contests, but, boy, does she know how to turn out a spectacular wedding gown.
As we saw last night, the judges chose their final three based on the wedding gowns and bridesmaid dresses that the designers created, and Jerell failed miserably, fashioning a wedding gown that Michael Kors dismissed as garish and a bridesmaid dress that Nina Garcia called mumsy.
Korto's busy wedding gown wasn't much better, and her bridesmaid dress was rather plain. But Jerell's designs were a true disaster. So while I had rooted for him all along, I had to agree that it was his time to go.
Leanne's sculptural wedding gown was stunning. Kors said it was chic, and beautifully crafted. Meanwhile, her bridesmaid dress was pretty and contemporary.
But it was Kenley who stunned the judges—and me, too—with her gorgeous wedding gown. Kors said it was romantic without being superior, and he said her flirty bridesmaid dress was the cutest damn dress he'd ever seen.
Am I the only person who had been rooting against Kenley all along only to find myself rooting for her last night?
Also, was anyone surprised by how snarky Jerell was after he'd been voted out? In his post-elimination interview, he cracked, "If you want a basic white tee, you can just get one from Michael Kors—that's just not what I do."
Someone is bitter. Why leave on a sour note like that?
Anyway, do you think the judges made the right decision last night in letting Jerell loose, and who do you think is going to be the ultimate winner?
My money is on Leanne. Her collection is artistic yet wearable.

Ok, this is probably going to be the most gay comment I will ever write anywhere...
I have no idea what the hell Jerell was doing last night, his dress was not pretty at all... It's sad though cause he has won the most challenges of everybody and he deserved to be able to show everyone his line. If it would've been based on last weeks performance it would've been him, Korto, and Leanne in the final three... it feels like they kinda screwed him over... but I guess that is the charm of reality TV.
I said to my bf early on this season that Leanne was going to win, and she's still there so hopefully she will do good. I actually wasn't too fond of her wave-inspired line, but some of the things she has done in the past has been incredibly nice. (Like that black scorpio thingy she made, incredible)
Korto's line looked very nice when Tim was there to visit her, I really liked the beads she had put together.
Kenley... good luck...
Ok... I think I have to go and drink a beer or watch a boxing match or something in order to redeem some of my manlyness. ;)

Jerrel was dead on about Kors - he sells his stuff in Costco!

Personally, though I love the girl to death, I thought Korto should have gone. I thought her dress was a disaster...overworked, color all wrong. And her bridesmaid, who was colored surprisingly "matchy-matchy," was hemmed too short and made too simply.
Yes, Jerrel's design was overwrought (what was up with the head full of flowers?). But I kind of liked the bridesmaid dress, and he DID win several challenges, including the final one before they left. That should have counted for something.
The face-off should have been between the low scorers in the last challenge, Korto and Kenley. In that battle, Kenley would have been the clear winner (though seriously, does the girl know NOTHING about the lines of other designers, which I don't, but which she should? Apparently her dressed mimicked...was it Alexander McQueen -- the best name for a designer ever?)
That's my two-cents.
