Is More Sarah Palin In Tina Fey's Future?

Is Tina Fey going to retire her Sarah Palin impersonation now that the election is over?

As the oh-so-folksy Alaskan governor might say, "You betcha!"

"I have to retire just because I have to do my day job," the 30 Rock star tells Entertainment Weekly.

If Saturday Night Live has the need for another Palin impersonator, SNL regular Kristen Wiig gets Tina's vote.

Apparently, great minds think alike because I recently suggested Kristen take over the Palin impersonation on the GayTVBlog!

That said, I hope Palin fades into oblivion, ending the need for a Palin impersonator on SNL, although I suspect that's just wishful thinking.

I will miss Tina's dead-on impersonation of the moose-hunting hockey mom. I have spent so many Saturday nights looking forward to seeing it in recent weeks. But for the benefit of my social life, I really need to get out on Saturday nights again!
