I am a proud White female citizen of the United States of America who happens to also be the Mother of a Proud Gay White Female Citizen of the United States of America and we totally agree with Wanda on everything. I really can't see why people can't be civil and realize that marriage is for people who love each other. SIMPLE AS THAT. As a mother of a Gay woman I support my Daughter in every decision she makes. She is not Gay because she wants to be she is Gay because she was born that way I noticed it in her as a very young child.

I'm sorry, RA, you have deluded yourself into believing that. This country's economics is based on MONEY. Period. End of story. It's also based on WAR, OCCUPATION and MYSOGYNY. Now, while I do see the corollary of the Civil Rights Movement and our movement to equal "marriage" (my old MCC church pastor called in "covenanting"), everything you mentioned in your post has to do with MONEY.

Wow my gaydar must be out of adjustment, I didn't know Wanda was gay. Well good for her and good for GLBT people around the world!

I live in Indiana, and it is hard getting info on when and where the protest are being held, our media is so right wing here. But I believe we must not stop at just one weekend of protesting.

One thing I want to do is go after the right wing religious foundation. Here in Indiana they have taken control of our cable networks, what they have done is place there religious "give me your money" networks in place of our regular television channels, example we have tv station channel 8, but on cable that is 7 on the remote, and channel 8 is the right wing "give me your money" channel.

I say we go after them from as many directions as we can, and we need to get support form our heterosexual friends as well.

i loved this even though i'm not in cliforia or married i was also crushed when prop 8 passed when the mequal marriage law in cali passed i was so proud of califonia but now well it's like that step we took forward we were tossed ten back and it makes me very sdad to live in a country that thinks they have to judge people because we're different.

Those are concepts I personally witnessed in the gay community. People wonder why there are gay pride and black gay pride celebrations in numerous places, including Houston. Get over yourself.
