"Gilligan" Casting Call!

Cera_gilligan I'm not a fan of remakes, but I will say this: when they are done right, they can be great. Take "The Brady Bunch Movie" (the first one); it was a good in its own right, but more importantly it successfully tapped into the nostalgia for the show while still giving us what we wanted from our favorite characters.

But what really makes or breaks a remake is casting. And now that word is out that Sherwood Schwartz is finally getting his feature-length movie version of his beloved "Gilligan's Island" series, it’s time to sit right back and play Casting Call!

"The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"

Curiousbenjaminbuttonbed I’m seldom accused of being sentimental. And I’m not often made emotional by movies. In fact, even though I know it may lead to my being labeled un-American, I’ll proudly stand up and declare that I hated that touchstone “touching” classic Forrest Gump. I found it to be frighteningly sweet, predictable and well, boring. I was therefore surprised to find myself teary at a recent screening of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," a film that shares many parallels and was even penned by the same scriptwriter, Eric Roth

Does Gale Harold Have A Future On "Desperate Housewives?"

Gale_harold2  Is Gale Harold going to return to Desperate Housewives?

That's the question that everyone has been asking in the wake of an October motorcycle accident that left the actor, who we first came to know and love on Queer As Folk, hospitalized with swelling on the brain and a fractured shoulder.

While we had heard that Gale was going to make a full recovery, which was a relief, we weren't getting a lot of details as to how long that recovery might take and whether we would see him on Desperate Housewives again anytime soon.

Series creator Marc Cherry reportedly had left the door wide open for Gale to come back, but then E! Online recently claimed that the situation wasn't looking promising for his return to the show. In fact, a source told E! Online that Gale was "majorly injured," adding, "I don't believe he'll be coming back."

Andydick Before we could slip into withdrawal, Celebrity Rehab is back!

As it turns out, the cast members from season two, which just wrapped up, were given the opportunity to spend three months living in a sober house, and it was all caught on film, resulting in Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House, an eight-episode series premiering on VH1 Thursday, January 15 at 10 p.m.

Rodney King, Nikki McKibbin, Steven Adler and Amber Smith from season two will be joining Seth "Shifty" Binzer and Mary Carey from season one of Celebrity Rehab in the house.
