Andy Dick Joins "Celebrity Rehab Sober House"

Andydick Before we could slip into withdrawal, Celebrity Rehab is back!

As it turns out, the cast members from season two, which just wrapped up, were given the opportunity to spend three months living in a sober house, and it was all caught on film, resulting in Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House, an eight-episode series premiering on VH1 Thursday, January 15 at 10 p.m.

Rodney King, Nikki McKibbin, Steven Adler and Amber Smith from season two will be joining Seth "Shifty" Binzer and Mary Carey from season one of Celebrity Rehab in the house.

And Andy Dick, who hasn't appeared on either season of Celebrity Rehab, is moving in, too.

Yup, Andy will take up residence in the sober house a few episodes into the show, according to VH1.

The bisexual former Newsradio star's alcohol and drug abuse has been widely reported over the years. In fact, Andy was arrested for suspicion of drug possession and sexual battery just this past summer, The Los Angeles Times reports. Andy was taken into custody outside of a restaurant in Murrieta, California, after he allegedly pulled down a teenage girl's tank top and bra, exposing her breasts. He was described by police as "extremely intoxicated," and cops found marijuana and Xanax that Andy didn't have a prescription for in his pocket when they searched him.

For the sake of the rest of the people living in the sober house, I hope Andy is serious about getting his act together this time. If not, he is going to be hell on Earth to live with.

So, like me, were you addicted to season two of Celebrity Rehab? Who do you think is going to succeed in staying clean and sober? And who do you predict will fall off the wagon? If you want to wish any of the stars well or write some words of encouragement, feel free to do so here.

I read a real satirical blog about VH1’s Celebrity Rehab and Sober House on Freedomhaterss.org

What better way to treat a damaged, drug-addled fallen celebrity than by sticking a TV camera in their face? Thus the premise of VH1’s, Celebrity Rehab. We get to tune in and see those once in the spotlight now publicly treated for drug and alcohol addiction.

Its better for him to rehabilitate, He needs treatment. But i think it is better to put him in a rehabilitation center where he can live his life far from celebrity life.

I really think that Rodney King is really going to shine and come out of this like a shiney penny. I hope the others do well. My heart goes out to them. Luckilly I have never had a drug or alcohol problem and hope that I never will. Good luck to them all and God be with them.

having a treatment is the best way to have a new life for him.
