Bea Arthur enters TV Hall of Fame!
One of our sources in L.A. has sent a tip that Bea Arthur is finally getting inducted to the TV Academy Hall of Fame this month, and it's happening not a moment too soon as far as I'm concerned!
It's hard to believe that she was already 50 years old when first introduced as Maude on "All in the Family", then moving to her own spin-off show during the golden age of TV sit-coms in the '70s. And, of course, probably our most beloved character, Dorothy, on "Golden Girls" -- the original "Sex in the City"!
We all know that Bea Arthur's been known to shell out her fair share of witty, deadpan one-liners in the same vein as Truman Capote, but can you tell them apart? Take our quiz and see if you REALLY know Bea Arthur.
Congrats, Bea -- We love, love, love you!

A wonderful comedy actress who has consistently supported gay people. I am glad to see her get this award.
I wish she would be given more work in comedies today - I miss her. Her facial expressions, comedy timing and tone of voice were always perfect.

A Golden Girls reunion? This show is on reruns all the time. Certainly there's a market for this! Even if it is just a Lifetime "special."
