Kathy Griffin Speaks Out Against Prop 8 - 3/30/09

Kathy Griffin spoke at at an anti-Prop 8 rally in Sacramento on March 30. The rally was at end of a 5 day Prop 8 protest march by 30 - 40 marchers which started on Wednesday, March 25, in Berkeley and finished at the California State Capitol. Here's the clip:

First Look: Grey Gardens

HBO has released the official trailer for the April 18th broadcast of Grey Gardens. Based on the lives that inspired the Maysles Brothers' classic documentary, the new film tells the story of "Big Edie" Beale (Jessica Lange) and her daughter "Little Edie" (Drew Barrymore), who forged a unique bond while living in a ramshackle East Hampton mansion.

Mike And Mel White Eliminated From "The Amazing Race"

Mel-mike-tar Everyone I know who watches The Amazing Race was rooting for Mike and Mel White to win this season.

Sadly, though, the father and son, who are both gay, were eliminated during the show's Thailand leg last night because their clueless cab driver headed toward the beach in search of the gorilla statue that they needed to find instead of going to the zoo. By the time, Mike and Mel realized they were way off course and got back on track, they were playing catch up, and ultimately they were just too far behind the other teams.

ABC's "What Would You Do?" Puts Gay Couple in Sports Bar

The ABC news series What Would You Do? places actors in real-life situations and then films the public's reactions. On the episode that just aired, they placed a gay couple, played by actors Dusty St. Amand and Dominic Benevento, who are a real-life couple, in a straight sports bar along with an actor and actress playing a straight couple. They also had another actor playing a homophobe, just to stir things up. Here is the clip of the segment:
