Ellen Has Something To Say About Adam Lambert
Ellen DeGeneres certainly has to relate to Adam Lambert's ballyhoed coming out. While she famously told Newsweek, "Yep, I'm gay," the American Idol runner up just told Rolling Stone, "I'm proud of my sexuality."
In turn, Ellen is proud of Adam. "I'm proud of him, and I'm happy for anyone who has the guts to actually tell the world who they are and not fear they are going to lose their career or alienate anybody," Ellen tells TV Guide.
Beyond that, Ellen thinks Adam's revelation (well, his confirmation of what everyone—except my mom—knew) is going to help young people who are gay see that they, too, can have a bright future. "We've seen recently in the press how many kids have killed themselves because of being bullied at school and teased," Ellen says. "Whenever there is somebody who is successful and talented and happy and openly gay, I think that sends a really positive message for all these kids out there that are struggling—and adults."
Do you agree with Ellen? Does Adam being openly gay and successful offer hope to gay kids and adults who might be having a hard time because of their sexual orientation?

When is Ellen going to start publicly asking why President Obama is breaking is election promises to the gay community ? She sucked up to him enough when he was on her show - does she think it's acceptable that he has lied to us ?
