John Barrowman: Why Am I Gay?

Barrowmen John Barrowman seeks to answer the question: why am I the way I am? In a BBC America one-hour special, Barrowman set out to unearth what the latest scientific research can tell him about the origins of his homosexuality.

His search for evidence takes him back to his roots to meet family and old friends. He also meets with psychologists and geneticists, compares his DNA to his heterosexual brother's, and conquers his claustrophobia to undergo a brain scan - all in the quest to find out how nature and nurture might have interacted to make him who he is.

Here's a clip that includes some fascinating theories from researchers that deal with testosterone in the womb, the finger length of gay men, and the number of older brothers possibly determining a man's outcome for being gay:

Barrowman tells the BBC: "My sexuality has never been deliberately hidden. I'm in a committed relationship with the love of my life, Scott Gill, and he is as much a part of the family as my sister's husband, Kevin, and my brother's wife, Dot. However, just because I'm comfortable with my sexuality doesn't mean that I'm not curious about it and that's one of the reasons I agreed to take this journey to discover the making of me."

His boyfriend is so hot!

Question is John Barrowman helping Trey Noran on his book about gay-life? No Way Out. Is that the title? I look foward on reading this book.I heard that John Barrowman question gay as well. My gay life has been a nightmare. So many games, promises and many one-nighters. I've done both gay and straight and was a Playgirl centerfold and believed I had what any man, or woman needed? Love, honesty and much more. Straight woman played the strong card and gay men play the head games. Life isn't easy. How did Trey Noran overcome and then to become a pastor on top of that? Hopefully he releases his book soon.

not true I know a lot of guys that are gay and are the older brothers of 1 or more younger brothers..also why was the study of only white men?

Well guys just watch it. Its a great in sight, over here in the UK it has already been aired and thats how I know it was a great in sight. Just enjoy it.

Alright. I'm not very informed about that; but it sounds pretty interesting for me. I have 5 older brothers and I think it has actually influenced over me.

Interesting find, I would say mate.

John Barrowman is a person who have passion to know more about his identity which I really like the most because he gave importance to himself. I'm really glad to watch and hear from his clips that being a gay is not affected by the environment but by the biological factors because even though I tried to mingle myself to the straight guys and hoping that they could help me to change my feelings but it is not. Now I have a 100% confident to myself of who I am and Thank you also for you John Barrowman your my idol.
