Gay TV on a Thursday Night: Vampire Diaries, Grey's and Real Housewives

First things first: Let's see the football team from Glee get down with “Single Ladies” one more time.

Fabulous. Equally well-executed was Kurt's (Chris Colfer) moment of truth -- he came out to his macho-man father, played to a tee by Mike O'Malley! Talk about #yayGay.

But Thursday is here. A new night brings a new DVR-desirable lineup, and there are plenty of funny ladies and sexy vamps cavorting on the small screen tonight.

DVD Pick: Jim Breuer's "Let's Clear the Air"

Jim breuer A decade later, Breuer's married with kids, has his own Sirius Satellite radio show and continues to thrive as a hugely popular stand up comic. But "the simple life" hasn't calmed him at all, as proven by "Let's Clear the Air," his latest Comedy Central special.

Also available on DVD, the manic genius of Breuer is in full force in the new show.  His impressions of Sylvester Stallone, Tracy Morgan, Dave Chappelle and Norm MacDonald are absolutely killer, but equally funny are the stories he tells about his home life, including what it's like to take care of his elderly parents.

"Idol" Without Paula: Would You Watch?

Paula Adul Paula Abdul is forever our girl, but it looks like her run on American Idol could be over. "Very sadly, it does not appear that she's going to be back on Idol," her manager David Sonenberg tells The Los Angeles Times.

Idol, which begins its ninth season in January, will begin auditioning singers in a couple of weeks, but the producers of the show have yet to reach out to Paula to discuss extending her contract, according to Sonenberg.

New Doc Examines Homoeroticism of Wrestling

Wresttling film image Where do old wrestlers go?

I’m not talking about the flamboyant basic cableTV professional “entertainers” as portrayed by Mickey Rourke in "The Wrestler."   I’m talking about the real athletes who grappled on the mat in high school and college.  Whatever happens to them?

Old baseball jocks can still play in middle-aged beer-leagues, ex-varsity football players can still openly toss around the pigskin and proudly recall “the big game” years later to anyone willing to listen, but what about adult males who still love the world’s oldest sport?

Ellen Has Something To Say About Adam Lambert

Ellen DeGeneres Ellen DeGeneres certainly has to relate to Adam Lambert's ballyhoed coming out. While she famously told Newsweek, "Yep, I'm gay," the American Idol runner up just told Rolling Stone, "I'm proud of my sexuality."

In turn, Ellen is proud of Adam. "I'm proud of him, and I'm happy for anyone who has the guts to actually tell the world who they are and not fear they are going to lose their career or alienate anybody," Ellen tells TV Guide.

Eminem Gets A Face Full Of Bruno

Eminen got a face full of Bruno's crotch during the MTV Movie Awards last night.

As you'll see in the clip below, Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen's gay Austrian fashionista alter ego, soared above the audience dressed as an angel. Or maybe he was a bird. In any case, he was wearing wings—and not much else.

Suddenly, Bruno took a nosedive, landing face first in Eminem's lap.

Eminem—never shy about celebrating homophobia in his music—freaked out, and after his posse helped get him out from underneath Bruno's balls, the rapper, who earlier in the show performed two cuts off his comeback album Relapse, stormed out of the auditorium.

Was Eminem in on the joke? He certainly could have been, but then again, maybe he wasn't. After all, Sacha Baron Cohen is famous for ambushing and humiliating people.

What do you think?
